The role requires estimating experience in water/wastewater markets, with the candidate able to develop contingency analyses and coordinate with field operations. Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and understanding specifications.
• Motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and experience working in collaborative environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for water and wastewater projects.
• Review project documents, plans, specifications, and addenda accurately.
• Analyze and compile estimate data affecting labor, materials, equipment, location and other factors.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide input on value engineering.
• Develop conceptual estimates from limited information with clear assumptions.
• Prepare contingency and risk analysis for estimates and pre-review.
• Communicate estimate bid information to field operations during pre-construction meetings.
