You will prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for water and wastewater projects and review documents to ensure accuracy. Qualifications

• 5-8 years of estimating experience in water, wastewater, or industrial markets.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings and verify take-offs.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Review project documents, plans, specs, and addenda thoroughly.
• Analyze data affecting labor, materials, equipment, and location costs.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Develop relationships with small businesses, subs, and suppliers.
• Provide input on value engineering.
• Provide conceptual estimates from limited information with assumptions.
• Prepare contingency and risk analysis for estimates.
• Communicate bid information to field operations at pre-construction meetings.
