Job summary

STAline Waterworks Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a full-time Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for underground utility and waterworks projects. You will review project plans, analyze material requirements, and gather pricing from suppliers.

You will build detailed proposals, coordinate with sales, operations and project teams, and keep pricing up-to-date to ensure bids are competitive and compliant with company standards. On-site collaboration a must.

Qualifications

• Experience with estimating in construction, utilities, or waterworks.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specs.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
• Analyze material quantities and pricing to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Obtain pricing from suppliers and manufacturers for bids.
• Prepare detailed proposals and bids for internal review and customer submission.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Project teams to clarify scope and align with standards.
• Track bid status and outcomes; support inquiries related to estimates and requirements.
