Job summary

STAline Waterworks is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in the Charlotte, NC area. This role will create accurate material cost estimates and comprehensive bid proposals to support project planning and execution, coordinating with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to ensure projects align with budgets.

The Estimator will work closely with branch management and sales to ensure customer needs are understood and met.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year industry experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed material cost estimates for assigned projects.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that are competitive and accurate.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from suppliers and maintain relationships with partners.
• Analyze project plans to identify risks and opportunities through value engineering.
• Monitor and track project costs and assist with change orders and cost control.
• Maintain organized, well-documented records of project work.
• Collaborate with branch management and sales to understand customer needs.
