Job summary

Michels Underground Cable, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to evaluate bid specifications and drawings, ensuring complete bids for successful projects.

You will follow up with subcontractors and coordinate with Project Management on bids and budgets, delivering accurate estimates with precision and timeliness. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering (3–5 years) and strong Excel skills, with the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Estimating experience or exposure to electrical/utility industry or data centers.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• As an Estimator, evaluate bid specifications and drawings to ensure all requirements are captured for bidding and winning projects.
• Follow up with subcontractors to confirm bids and work with Project Management to track bids and budgets.
• Produce accurate estimates in a timely manner with strong attention to detail.
