Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate quantity and material take-offs by reviewing plans, specs, and instructions for estimate preparation.
• Enter quantity take-offs and material unit pricing for the project.
• Apply appropriate work breakdown structure (WBS).
• Coordinate estimate material pricing from vendors and other sources.
• Develop pricing for basic project elements.
• Contact subcontractors and suppliers for outsource pricing.
• Contribute to the preparation of key estimating deliverables.
• Support conceptual estimating efforts and develop basic models for senior review.
• Develop budgets and purchasing plans with minimal oversight.
