Job summary

LMC Corporation is seeking an experienced Estimator to support our SCUC ISD program. This role will prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive proposals for K-12 and municipal construction projects.

You will review plans, calculate labor, material, and indirect costs, and ensure compliance with district pricing requirements. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of estimating experience, proficiency with RS Means CostWorks or Gordian, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in commercial, municipal, educational, or public-sector construction.
• Proficiency with RS Means CostWorks and/or Gordian estimating platforms.
• Experience using the San Antonio CCI-adjusted unit price book preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for RFQs and construction projects.

• Review project scopes, plans, specifications, and contract documents.

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely cost proposals for a variety of K-12 and municipal construction projects. This position plays a critical role in the bidding and project planning process by developing detailed estimates and ensuring alignment with district pricing requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
