Job summary

GDA Contractors in Houston seeks an Estimator/Project Manager to work closely with senior management to ensure company goals and missions are met.

In this role you will oversee bidding, project setup, vendor coordination, contract administration, and customer relations, while coordinating technically complex installations and driving profitable project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Engineering or related field.
• Construction management or related industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Approve all vendor invoices of purchases for jobs under contract.
• Coordinate customer relations and requests.
• Personally coordinate any technically difficult installations.
• Complete Job Set-up and Start-up functions on jobs sold
• Manage and oversee contract administration from negotiation

The Opportunity:

As Estimator/Project Manager, you will work closely with senior management to ensure that company goals and missions are met.

• Follow bidding and selling practices established by the company.
• Set-up and Start-up phase of each project.
• Maintain Bidding Activity of a minimum of 3 jobs per week.
• Close contracts on projects bid

Project Management:

What you need to succeed:

• Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Engineering or a related field
• Construction management or related industry experience required
