Job summary

Pacific Decorative Concrete, Inc. is expanding its Northern California team and seeks an Assistant Estimator/Project Manager to support estimating, sales and project oversight for epoxy flooring and polished concrete projects across the Western USA.

The role offers a path to Senior Project Manager with responsibilities spanning bids, budgets and client coordination. Ideal candidates have sales experience and a background in construction estimating.

Qualifications

• Sales experience is required.
• Construction estimating / project management experience is preferred, but not required.
• Qualifying and closing ability, history of sales success.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for account development and territory development through existing account follow up, lead follow up, target marketing and business development meetings.
• New and existing account development, estimations on projects, proposal deliveries and material demonstration.
• Interaction with customers including estimators, building managers, corporate executives, bidding contractors, general contractors, and maintenance managers.
• Primary sales focus is on industrial, manufacturing and retail environments / projects.
• Work closely with Vice President, entire Estimating Team and Operations Team.

JOB DETAILS

Job Title: Assistant Estimator/Project Manager
Company: PDCI / Pacific Decorative Concrete, Inc.

You will be responsible for assisting in estimating, sales and managing of concrete floor polishing and epoxy projects located in the Western USA. PDCI is a leader in specialized concrete systems, installing over 10 million square feet annually. This position provides the opportunity to become a Sr. Project Manager, where it is your responsibility to generate new business through various avenues in the industry. Our company has 4 regional offices located on the West Coast, with our corporate office located in Sacramento, CA. Sales and Estimating experience is required. You must be a self‐starter, able to take initiative, be dependable, responsible, dedicated, professional, and able to multi‑task. Knowledge and experience in the construction industry is a big advantage.

Position will be based out of corporate office in Sacramento, CA.

Requirements:

• Construction estimating / project management experience is preferred, but not required.
• Qualifying and closing ability, as well as a history of sales success
• The ability to work successfully both individually and within a team environment
• Solid time management skills and a strong motivation to develop new accounts and clients
• Generating bids and proposals, job budgets, working with the Sales team.
• Project takeoffs, estimates, project coordination, seeing a job through from start to finish.
• Knowledge of industrial flooring (resinous flooring, coatings, epoxy, concrete staining, and concrete polishing is a plus!
