Job summary

Selvaggio Steel in Springfield, IL is seeking an Experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our in-house team. This role requires hands-on collaboration with engineers, architects and production staff to deliver accurate cost estimates and manage projects end-to-end.

The position is full-time and on-site, with a salary range of $70k–$85k for a middle-level candidate with at least 3 years of experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD or REVIT and solid math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with engineers, contractors and clients is required.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong math and analytical skills to interpret engineering drawings and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, architects and production staff.
• Consult with industry experts to discuss cost estimates and manufacturing drawings.
• Use computer software to calculate cost estimates or document fabrication processes.
• Maintain clear verbal and written communication across teams and with clients.
• Demonstrate good project management and advanced analytical skills.
• Follow through on tasks without direct supervision.
