Job summary

Selvaggio Steel, Inc. is seeking a CAD/Production Technician to work in the Springfield office in person only. The role involves collaborating with engineers, contractors, and production staff to prepare and review architectural/engineering drawings while using AutoCAD and REVIT for 3D modeling.

Strong math skills and clear communication are required. Salary ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 per year for full-time employment with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with architectural and/or engineering drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT 3D modeling.
• Proficient with computers and engineering math.
• Willing to contribute and grow with our well respected organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with engineers, contractors, architects and production staff.
• Consulting with industry experts to discuss cost estimates and/or manufacturing drawings
• Using computer software to calculate cost estimates or document the fabrication process
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good project management and advanced analytical skills
• Can follow through without direct supervision
