Job Description:
Creates cost estimates and manufacturing plans for precision CNC machined, formed, and assembled parts, accounting for all customer requirements. Maintain ERP system with current bill of materials and manufacturing plan.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Analyze customer orders/drawings/specifications to determine manufacturing requirements.
- Reviews incoming bid opportunities to determine scope and alignment with company capabilities
- Estimate manufacturing times and tooling costs, obtain quotes for materials and outside processes, determine economical lot size.
- Create manufacturing plans in ERP system capturing all material, production, and inspection requirements.
- Identify non-recurring expenses related to onboarding of, or changes to, a part.
- Maintain manufacturing plan revision control as necessary to produce parts that meet latest customer engineering and requirements.
- Understand the needs of internal consumers of ERP data, update and maintain data to support effective use by all downstream processes.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Associates Degree or higher
- 2 years previous experience in estimating and/or planning
- Strong background in MS Excel, knowledge of CAD software (CATIA), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Background in machining, sheet metal, and/or complex assembly techniques
- Highly skilled in reading blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T)
- Experience in ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic or equivalent)
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
- Some travel between facilities or to customer locations is required
- The Estimator/Planner is required to enter the machine shop environment at times throughout the workday; this environment may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc.
- Possible skin and inhaled contact with various sealants, paints, adhesives, and other chemicals may occur
- Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required
- Safety training is required and provided by the Company in accordance with applicable law, industry standards, and Company policy
Physical Demands:
- Use of computer keyboard and mouse throughout the work day
- Lifting up to 35 pounds

Salary Offering:
$36.00 per hour to $46.00 per hour
Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
