Job summary

E3 Recruiting is seeking an Estimator for high-end residential remodeling in the Raleigh/Triangle area. You will develop accurate budgets and formal proposals, coordinate pricing, and support projects from ballpark estimates through handoff to construction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential remodeling, construction estimating, or similar experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with JobTread or similar construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual budgets and detailed construction estimates.
• Develop formal proposals, scopes of work, allowances, and options.
• Prepare, price, and track project change orders.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical costs, pricing templates, and proposal standards.
• Coordinate vendor and subcontractor pricing and support purchasing activities.
• Continuously improve estimating processes, templates, and documentation.
