We are working with a growing construction roofing contractor in NYC that specializes in new construction roofing projects, with additional exposure to restoration work. They are looking to hire a Junior Estimator to support their expanding preconstruction and estimating team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates for new construction roofing projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents
• Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing
• Support senior estimators with bid preparation and proposals
• Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Help track project costs and maintain estimating databases

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in construction estimating (roofing preferred)
• Exposure to new construction projects (commercial or residential)
• Restoration experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Excel; estimating software experience is a plus
