Job summary

Qualus in Middle River, MD is seeking an Estimator in the Sales Support Group. The role supports Business Development through job costing, estimating, proposal generation, and post-order support. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations to identify solutions and prepare quotes.

Preferred candidates have 2-5 years in sales support, can read electrical drawings, and craft professional proposals using MS Office. Strong communication and multitasking are required.

Qualifications

• Reading electrical specifications and drawings is preferred.
• Able to construct written proposals with proper grammar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports sales of products and services through quotes and proposals.
• Reads specs and drawings to determine best solutions.
• Assembles cost estimates for materials and labor and leads review calls.
• Uses CRM to manage client and quote activity and tasks.
• Develops technical collateral, quotes, schedules, and submittals as needed.
• Provides sales and technical support to clients and internal teams.
• Clarifies orders during hand-off to Operations.
