Job summary

Arconic is seeking an Estimator II to join the Kawneer team in Springdale, AR, supporting the U.S. Building & Construction Systems division.

You will develop competitive pricing and estimates for storefronts, curtain walls, doors, and windows in a collaborative office setting. The role requires construction industry experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple estimates with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cost estimations for projects and construction plans using customer supplied lists, customer elevations, and architectural plans.
• Provides exceptional customer service for Kawneer’s clients.
• Consults with internal teams, clients, sales reps, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Be a point-of-contact on phone inquiries with expectation of 100% response and customer assistance without frequently forwarding calls to other front-end employees.

Job Summary

Arconic is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimator II to join the Kawneer team in Springdale, AR, supporting the U.S. Building & Construction Systems (BCS) division. In this role, you will:

You have: (required)

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
• 2-5 years of experience in the Construction Industry (estimating, drafting, project management, etc.)
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Exceptional Candidates also have: (preferred)

• Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited institution
• 5-10 years of work experience in the construction / architectural industry.
• 5-10 years of cost estimating experience.
• Previous experience providing cost estimates for Curtain Wall / Window Wall products.
• Experience using JD Edwards and / or KaluCAD.
• Ability to visualize design concepts from Architectural Plans.
• Experience negotiating.
• Ability to calculate engineering loads on single and double window spans.
