Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of internship/co‑op experience preferred.
• General understanding of construction methods, materials, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to learn and use estimating, project management, and construction software.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates for industrial construction projects, including material take-offs, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes of work, and bid documents to understand requirements.
• Collaborate with senior estimators to develop accurate and competitive pricing.
• Assist with cost analysis and identify potential cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
• Utilize estimating software to complete quantity take-offs and cost calculations.
• Support bid preparation and vendor coordination activities.
