Job summary

Pioneer Cladding and Glazing Systems is seeking an Estimator I to prepare labor and material estimates for custom curtain wall projects. You will review specs, perform takeoffs, gather vendor pricing, and apply estimating standards under guidance from senior estimators.

Strong communication with internal teams is essential. The role supports Design Assist, Shop, Engineering, Field, and Project Management teams, reporting to the Estimating Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Science or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of estimating or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural specifications and engineering documents to understand project requirements.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and perform initial comparison to project documents.
• Perform takeoffs and estimate labor costs for various teams.
• Consult with Estimator II or Senior Estimator for guidance and alignment.
• Support the Estimating Manager with project documentation and handoffs.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in data collection and estimation processes.
