Job summary

CBTS in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Estimator I to support Sales and the Estimating Department by developing labor and material estimates for custom unitized curtain wall projects. This role focuses on reviewing project documentation, performing takeoffs, and organizing pricing data under guidance from senior estimators.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors, applying established estimating standards and reporting to the Estimating Manager daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of estimating or related experience.
• Familiarity with basic engineering/architectural principles; ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Strong verbal and written communication; excellent organization and time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to travel up to 5%.

Job Summary

The Estimator I plays a key role in supporting Sales and the Estimating Department by assisting in the development of labor and material estimates for custom unitized curtain wall projects. This position focuses on reviewing project documentation, performing accurate takeoffs, gathering and organizing vendor pricing, and applying established estimating standards under the guidance of Estimator II and Senior Estimators. Strong communication skills are essential, as the Estimator I works closely with internal teams and vendors to gather and organize information. The Estimator I reports to and works directly with the Estimating Manager on a day-to-day basis.
