Job summary

Pioneer Cladding and Glazing Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to support Sales, Project Management, Engineering, and Field Operations by developing detailed labor and material estimates for exterior facades.

The role focuses on unitized curtain wall projects, with emphasis on reviewing project documents and applying insights from past work to prepare competitive bids. The Senior Estimator will mentor Estimator I and II, present findings to clients and internal teams, and coordinate handoffs to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 8+ years estimating glass and glazing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction docs.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review of architectural and engineering documents to understand project requirements.
• Identify and document custom project elements unfamiliar to Pioneer.
• Collaborate with internal teams for cost-effective solutions.
• Own the SFE and lead discovery of unknowns (products, manufacturing, logistics).
• Oversee and validate labor and material estimates.
• Vet and select qualified vendors for proposals.
