Job summary

HDR is seeking an Estimator I in the Building Engineering Services Group to develop, evaluate, and present scope and cost data for construction and project estimates. You will coordinate with design and construction staff to base estimates on project scope and schedule, supporting various project stages.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and has knowledge of General Contracting, EPC methods, and familiarity with estimating software such as Sage,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Fundamental knowledge of General Contracting, EPC construction methods, processes, and procedures.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, cost estimating and project control software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, compile, and present scope and cost data for construction and project estimates.
• Work on estimates that may be order of magnitude for planning, preliminary, or definitive purposes.
• Coordinate with design and construction staff to obtain estimate scope and schedule data.
