DCG ONE, headquartered in Seattle with locations in NYC and Maryland, seeks an Entry-level Estimator I to assist the Estimating team with accurate pricing and smooth project progression from opportunity to production.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and looking to grow careers in print and marketing services, with exposure to cost estimation, job entry, and project planning in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with the print industry preferred.
• Four-year college degree preferred.
• May be required to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Provides a variety of routine duties to support the Estimating department.
• Supports team of Estimators and helps coordinate projects.
• Works closely with production staff and project managers to ensure accuracy of cost estimates.
• Enters estimates and jobs into company software program.
• Works closely with Estimating employees to learn various aspects of the print industry, estimating, job entry, purchasing, and project planning.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Estimator I is an entry-level role that supports our Estimating team by preparing accurate pricing estimates and helping move projects successfully from opportunity to production. Working under general supervision, this position performs routine estimating activities, follows established procedures, and collaborates with internal teams to support project success.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is predominantly held in a clerical environment but will also need to work on the production floor in an industrial warehouse setting.

• - This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
• - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
