Job summary

DCG ONE in Maryland is seeking an entry-level Estimator I to support the Estimating team by preparing accurate pricing estimates and helping move projects from opportunity to production. Working under general supervision, this role performs routine estimating activities and collaborates with internal teams to support project success.

The position provides exposure to the print industry and opportunities to learn estimating, job entry, purchasing and project planning while partnering with

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with the print industry preferred.
• Four-year college degree preferred and may require clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine duties to support the Estimating department.
• Supports team of Estimators and helps coordinate projects.
• Works with production staff and project managers to ensure cost estimate accuracy.
• Enters estimates and jobs into the company software program.
• Learns aspects of the print industry, estimating, job entry, purchasing and project planning.
