AIS Infrastructure Group is seeking an Estimator to provide accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects across the United States. The role supports successful project execution by applying cost estimation techniques, managing cost data, and ensuring adherence to AIS safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction cost estimation, experience with estimation software, and strong collaboration with engineers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost estimation for civil construction projects.
• Solid experience reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings.
• Familiarity with construction industry practices, including subcontracting and procurement.

Responsabilités

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine project requirements and scope.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates by quantifying materials, labor, and equipment required for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information for cost estimation.
• Utilize cost estimation software and tools to calculate costs and generate detailed reports.
• Evaluate and analyze project risks, identifying potential cost overruns and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Review and compare subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Prepare and present cost estimates to clients, management, and stakeholders.
• Provide support in the negotiation and procurement of contracts, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost tracking throughout the construction process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, construction market conditions, and pricing of materials and labor.
