Job summary

GH Engage is seeking an experienced Estimator II for its heavy civil and infrastructure estimating team. The role focuses on developing detailed estimates for large, complex projects and working with project teams across regions. Strong bid experience and attention to detail are essential.

You will review plans and specs, take-offs, and pricing, while coordinating with operations and leadership to ensure competitive bids. Office-based with some travel.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of estimating/construction experience.
• Strong background in heavy civil, infrastructure or similar construction.
• Demonstrated experience estimating complex projects.
• Hands-on experience with HCSS HeavyBid – required.
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or AGTEK beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates for large, complex heavy-civil projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Develop construction approaches and methodologies to support estimates.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs.
• Develop preliminary project schedules.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement and leadership during bid prep.
• Identify pricing, design, schedule and constructability issues.
• Present and reconcile estimates with internal teams and clients.
• Attend project meetings and occasional site visits.
