Job summary

Manhattan Road & Bridge Company, a Tulsa-based heavy civil contractor, is seeking an Estimator to join our preconstruction and estimating staff. The position will office in one of Manhattan's division offices (Tulsa, OK, Oklahoma City, OK, or Springdale, AR).

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and experience estimating in heavy civil or DOT projects, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and take-off software (AutoCAD, Agtek, Bluebeam, HCSS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related degree.
• Experience estimating/heavy civil or DOT projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Take-off software experience preferred (AutoCAD, Agtek, Bluebeam, HCSS Plans)

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for heavy civil construction projects.
• Quantity take-offs.
• Subcontractor and vendor solicitation and coordination.
• Estimate preparation and bid-submission.
• Budget preparation and buyout.
• Assist with purchase orders and subcontract production.
• Organize estimate hand-offs and bidding logic for operations staff.
• Maintain accurate cost history database.
• Assist in change order preparation and negotiations with project management staff.
