Job summary

Diversified Fall Protection is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate quotes based on customer requests and project specs. Work with sales, site survey technicians, and engineering to coordinate information and meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate translates customer needs into compliant, cost-effective solutions and thrives in cross-functional teams. Knowledge of fall protection systems, suspended access work, and California OSHA codes is highly desirable to ensure accuracy and compliance

Qualifications

• Experience reading architectural and structural construction documents.
• Proven ability to gather information from multiple sources for estimates.
• Experience in job cost estimation within steel/structural construction.
• Proficient with MS Office; strong Excel skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA/Cal/OSHA or related standards is a plus.
• CRM experience with Salesforce preferred.
• AutoDesk/CAD familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed cost estimates for projects.
• Manage estimating tasks to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to resolve design/cost issues.
• Review site survey photos, drawings, and satellite images.
• Provide verbal site descriptions for sales and engineering.
• Coordinate with Project Management and Engineering on solutions.
• Join client calls as needed for technical input.
• Align estimating tasks with project timelines and expectations.
