Job summary

JOHNSON SERVICE GROUP is seeking an Estimator for an onsite, direct-hire position in the greater Dallas area. Recent electrical estimating with on-screen take-off experience is preferred and will lead engineered estimates up to $5M.

The role requires a 4-year Construction/Engineering degree or equivalent, 2+ years with a commercial electrical contractor, and proficiency with estimating software along with NEC knowledge. Salary ranges from $120k to $145k annually.

Qualifications

• 4 year Construction/Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience with a commercial electrical contractor.
• 1+ years of electrical estimating experience with take-off experience preferred.
• Proficient with estimating software and NEC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple systems on Technical, Health Care or Industrial projects.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and review scope to ensure accuracy.
• Review contract documents and determine scope and cost allowances.
• Mentor Estimator Trainees & staff.
