Job summary

Jobot is seeking an MEP Estimator to join our Rochester, MN team, backfilling a retiring member. You will focus on pure estimating for commercial mechanical systems across sheet metal, piping and plumbing, reporting to the Chief Estimator.

You’ll work on multi-office bids, mentor junior estimators, and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes. This role offers a sign-on bonus, a hybrid work model, and relocation options for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pure estimating experience within commercial MEP environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems (sheet metal, piping, plumbing).
• Experience on projects ranging from several million to $100M.
• Background in a commercial mechanical contractor environment (preferred).
• Ability to collaborate across teams and offices.

Job Details

We are seeking an MEP Estimator to join our team supporting our Rochester operations. This role is a backfill for a retiring team member and offers the opportunity for cross-training and knowledge transfer. You will focus on pure estimating within commercial mechanical systems, working across sheet metal, piping and plumbing scopes. This individual will play a key role in both executing estimates and helping elevate the overall estimating function. You will report directly to the Chief Estimator and collaborate across offices on a variety of project types.
