The Estimator will focus on preparing bids, managing vendor relationships, and performing quantity take-offs for various infrastructure projects. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on heavy civil construction.
• Experience estimating projects from $1M to $50M.
• Valid driver's license and comprehensive knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• OSHA knowledge and safety compliance.
• Valid driver’s license.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estimator with experience in civil construction to join our team in Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Sound organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, Geotech.
• Prepare bids, select vendors/subcontractors and estimate 'self-performed' crew compositions and production rates.
• Make scope of work determinations and perform quantity take-offs.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients.
• Communicate and collaborate with wide range of individuals, including both Operations and other Estimating team members.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, means, and methods); supervision, estimating, schedules, budget, and safety.
• Knowledge of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with Agtek Earthwork take-off software is preferred.
• A desire to learn and grow.
• Willingness to cooperate in a team environment.
• Demonstrate 100% detailed understanding of project scope.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Heavy Civil construction. Specifically, earthwork, underground water, underground wastewater, underground drainage and street/highway construction.

Education and Experience:

• Education: High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Preferred).
• Experience: Over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on heavy civil construction projects, including structure projects, and experience in estimating projects ranging from $1M to $50M.
