Job summary

Dugan & Meyers is seeking an Estimator to support bidding and cost-forecasting on commercial and civil construction projects. The role emphasizes accuracy in estimating sitework, concrete, and related scopes while collaborating with project teams throughout preconstruction and execution.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Construction Management or Engineering, at least five years of estimating experience, and proficiency with Excel and Bluebeam to prepare competitive bids and value engineering

Qualifications

• 5 years commercial construction experience and a solid background in estimating for sitework, concrete and civil projects.
• Experience with preconstruction to closeout and strong collaboration with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates for sitework, concrete, and civil projects.
• Analyze drawings, specs, and proposals to determine scope and requirements.
• Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier quotes and develop budgets.
• Provide constructability input and cost impacts during planning and execution.
