Job summary

Kimmel & Associates is seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive bids for commercial construction projects. The Estimator will collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to deliver detailed bids and secure new business in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on estimating experience with fast-food restaurants, retail, commercial, banking, or similar construction, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of construction estimating experience strongly preferred.
• Previous estimating experience in restaurant, fast-food, retail, commercial, or similar construction.
• Experience estimating projects in the $3M-$6M range.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and competitive bids for fast-food restaurant, retail, and commercial construction projects.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and develop project budgets.
• Solicit, analyze, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and supporting documentation.
• Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting critical bid deadlines.
