Landmark Builders, Inc. in Columbia, SC is seeking a full-time Estimator to join our preconstruction team. You will provide estimating services across market segments and all delivery methods, including design-build, design-bid-build, and GMP projects.

You will study plans, coordinate with preconstruction managers, and prepare detailed estimates with takeoffs and vendor quotes. Travel for meetings and site visits may be required as projects progress.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–10+ years of experience in commercial construction as an Estimator.
• Knowledge of cost of materials, trades, building types, and systems.
• Understanding of various project delivery methods.
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to learn estimating software.

Aufgaben

• Thoroughly study plans and visit sites to confirm project requirements.
• Coordinate with Preconstruction Managers, clients, and design team to deliver estimates.
• Provide detailed estimates with takeoffs and vendor quotes.
• Coordinate scope reviews with subcontractors and suppliers to understand proposals and avoid gaps and risks.
• Travel for meetings, design reviews, budget presentations, and site visits.
