Metric Geo, in partnership with a leading heavy civil contractor in Central Arkansas, seeks an Estimator to develop competitive bids for earthwork, utilities, paving, roadway, and structural projects while collaborating with operations, project management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate budgets and constructable solutions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of estimating experience in heavy civil or highway construction.
• Experience estimating earthwork, utilities, paving, roadway, or bridge projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for heavy civil projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope, risks, and pricing requirements.
• Develop production rates, equipment pricing, and estimating strategies.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Support bid reviews, value engineering, and final proposal submissions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate budgets and constructable solutions.
• Maintain organized estimating documentation and historical cost data.
