Millwork shop in Astoria-Queens, looking for an experienced person to helpinthe Estimating Department following up all outgoing proposals. The candidate will be responsible for managing proposals and identifying new construction opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control the bidding department with incoming requests, deadlines and tracking bids (from start to finish).
• Identify new construction millwork opportunities using lead companies.
• Communicate with clients regarding new and ongoing projects.
• Must read and understand architectural blueprints and specifications (a must).
• Assist project manager s with submittals and general office duties.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and organizational skills .
• Prior experience in construction estimation or project coordination preferred .

Schedule:Full-Time (Monday to Friday8:00 am to 4:30pm)

Location:New York, Astoria

Compensation:Based on experience
