Metro Marble & Granite is seeking a motivated Estimator / Account Assistant to join our team in the St. Louis area.

You’ll prepare bids and estimates, answer client questions, and support project coordination for countertops fabrication and installation. This role requires strong communication, excellent organization, and the ability to juggle multiple projects while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone and email.
• Provide occasional phone coverage for the office.
• Assist walk-in customers when needed.
• Coordinate job paperwork and ensure smooth progression from estimate to shop.
• Follow up on project details to keep jobs on schedule.
• Collaborate with sales, office staff, and shop to move from estimate to installation.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing bids and estimates for clients
• Responding to customer questions regarding project details, pricing, scheduling, and other project needs
• Communicating with customers and clients by phone and email
• Providing occasional phone coverage for the office
• Assisting walk-in customers when needed
• Coordinating job paperwork and making sure projects move efficiently through the office and to the shop
• Following up on project details to help keep jobs on schedule
• Working closely with our sales team, office staff, and shop to ensure a smooth process from estimate to installation
