Wagman Construction, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to join our team near York, PA. The role focuses on assessing small commercial projects ($250-$500k) and preparing detailed cost estimates in collaboration with lead estimators, project managers, subcontractors, and design teams.
The position reports to the Vice President of Preconstruction and supports budgeting, bid pricing, value engineering, and cost control while ensuring safety and quality standards and client expectations are met.
High School Graduate or Equivalant, Bachelors in Engineering or related field preferred
A minimum of 2 years of construction estimating. Working knowledge of construction trades. Strong understanding of estimating applications, preparation of proposals, project management, conceptual estimating, job cost accounting, and scheduling for commercial construction.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and organizational skills
Frequent travel to project location, generally within 2 hour radius of York, PA.

Pay Range: $65,000.00/yr- $85,000.00/yr (Based on experience)

Reporting to the Vice President of Preconstruction, the Estimator is responsible for assessing small commercial projects ($250 - $500k) and preparing detailed cost estimates for various construction plans. The Estimator works closely with the lead estimators, project managers, subcontractors, and the design team to ensure accurate and competitive project cost estimates that comply with safety and quality standards and align with client expectations.
