Job summary

Highland Roofing is seeking a seasoned commercial roofing estimator to join our growing team in Charlotte, Raleigh, or Wilmington, NC. If you're passionate about roofing and want to work with a company that treats you like family, we'd love to meet you.

You will create accurate estimates and proposal letters for projects, read blueprints and specs, use The Edge software to build templates, document quotes in our system, and collaborate with the team to meet productivity and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience or strong roofing superintendent background.
• Solid knowledge of commercial roofing systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate estimates and proposal letters for commercial roofing projects (new construction, replacements, coatings/restorations).
• Read blueprints and specs to plan installation approaches.
• Use The Edge estimating software to build and maintain templates.
• Document all quotes and sales in our software.
• Collaborate with the team to meet productivity and profitability goals.
• Help improve workflows and processes with the executive team.
