Job summary

Highland Roofing Company Inc. is seeking a seasoned commercial roofing estimator to join our team in Charlotte, Raleigh, or Wilmington, NC. If you’re passionate about roofing and want a family-like culture, we’d love to meet you.

You will prepare accurate estimates, read blueprints, and use The Edge estimating software to build templates and track quotes, collaborating with the team to reach productivity and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience (or strong roofing superintendent/project management background).
• Solid knowledge of commercial roofing systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate estimates and proposal letters for commercial roofing projects (new construction, replacements, coatings/restorations).
• Read blueprints and specs to plan the best installation approach.
• Use The Edge estimating software to build and maintain templates.
• Document all quotes and sales in our company's software.
• Collaborate with the team to meet productivity and profitability goals.
• Help improve workflows and processes with the executive team.
