Job summary

Magnum Paving LLC in Georgia is seeking an experienced Estimator to determine project costs by analyzing drawings, specs, and other documents, with a focus on concrete and asphalt works.

You will prepare detailed cost proposals, budgets, and bid responses, coordinate with project managers and suppliers, and track changes throughout project lifecycles, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with concrete and asphalt focus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and technical docs.
• Familiar with estimating software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

We are growing and looking to add an Estimator to our team! You will be responsible for determining the cost of construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents. The Estimator will estimate the quantities of materials needed, labor costs, and equipment expenses, often negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices. This role also prepares detailed cost proposals and budgets for clients and project managers.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
