Job summary

Unio Digital in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Estimator to produce accurate, competitive estimates for cabling and physical security projects. You will perform material takeoffs from plan sets, coordinate with vendors for pricing, and validate scope with engineers and PMs before proposal release.

The role requires 2+ years estimating in related trades, proficiency with takeoff software, and meticulous bid discipline. This is a full-time on-site opportunity based in Tucson.

Qualifications

• 2+ years estimating in commercial low voltage, electrical, or comparable trade.
• Proficiency with takeoff software (Bluebeam Revu, OnScreen Takeoff, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and bid-submission discipline.
• Familiarity with structured cabling and physical security material catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Perform material takeoffs from architectural plan sets (Bluebeam, OnScreen Takeoff, or comparable).
• Source vendor pricing and validate availability for proposal-stage materials.
• Build labor estimates against scope, complexity, and crew capacity.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to validate scope before release.
• Maintain estimate templates and historical estimate accuracy data.
