Job summary

Ambient Enterprises is seeking a motivated Estimator to join our team in Salt Lake City. The role focuses on reviewing commercial HVAC plans and specifications and developing accurate pricing for hydronic equipment across multiple manufacturers.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Estimator to join our team. This position focuses on reviewing commercial HVAC plans and specifications and developing accurate pricing for hydronic equipment across a wide range of manufacturers.

What You’ll Do

• Review commercial HVAC drawings and project specifications
• Prepare detailed and accurate equipment quotes
• Manage multiple projects at once while meeting firm bid deadlines
• Communicate with internal team members, manufacturers, and customers
• Coordinate pricing and selections across multiple manufacturers

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment
• Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Experience

• 1-3 years of industry experience relevant to the role
• Highly proficient in Excel and Adobe
• Previous estimating or HVAC industry experience is preferred, but not required
• We’re willing to train the right candidate who’s motivated and eager to learn

Compensation

Up to $80,000 DOE
