Job summary

About Us Gritton & Associates is a family-owned and operated company that was founded in 1967. We are a supplier of equipment for the HVAC, plumbing and industrial systems. Job Description About the role: We are seeking a motivated Estimator to join our team. This position focuses on reviewing commercial HVAC plans and specifications and developing accurate pricing for hydronic equipment across a wide range of manufacturers.

What You’ll Do:

• Review commercial HVAC drawings and project specifications
• Prepare detailed and accurate equipment quotes
• Manage multiple projects at once while meeting firm bid deadlines
• Communicate with internal team members, manufacturers, and customers
• Coordinate pricing and selections across multiple manufacturers

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to manage time effectively in a deadline‑driven environment
• Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Experience: 1‑3 years of industry experience relevant to the role
• Highly proficient in Excel and Adobe
• Previous estimating or HVAC industry experience is preferred, but not required

Compensation:

Up to $80,000 DOE
