Job summary

Dynamic NC in Kansas is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our on-site team. The role focuses on analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring bids align with budgets and timelines.

You will review drawings, BOMs, and supplier data, collaborate with project managers and customers, assess risks, and deliver accurate, competitive quotes while upholding our Safety and Quality Management standards. This is an on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of previous estimating experience preferred.
• Experience with Catia V5 is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, focused and results-driven.
• Proficient with MS Office and reading BOMs/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Populate quote spreadsheet with run times, processing and material costs.
• Meet RFQ deadlines and coordinate with team to deliver bids.
• Analyze technical drawings, specifications, BOMs and models for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather input for estimates.
• Evaluate risks for RFQs including delivery and material requirements.
• Communicate with customers to gather information and provide feedback.
• Attend department and company meetings and follow QMS & safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that all estimates align with project budgets and timelines. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management principles and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver accurate and competitive bids.

Role and Responsibilities

• Populate quote spread sheet with run times, processing, and material cost.
• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Meet all RFQ deadlines.
• Analyze technical drawings, specifications, 3D models, BOMs, and any other technical information required to manufacture.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts within the organization to gather input on jobs being estimated.
• Evaluate and document risks associated with an RFQ or quotation, including internal capability, delivery, material, and outside processing requirements.
• Communicate with customer to gather information and provide feedback.
• Attend Department and Company Meetings.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Highschool diploma / GED.
• 1-2 years of previous experience, preferred.
• Experience with Catia V5, preferred.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Organized, focused, and results-oriented.
• Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret aerospace bill of materials, engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions.
