Pal-Con, Ltd. is urgently seeking a skilled Estimator/Bid Coordinator to join our team. Our Estimator/Bid Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the beginning-to-end bid submission process, ensuring the successful, timely submission of accurate competitive proposals that meet the clients' requirements to secure new business opportunities and maintain existing business relationships.
Duties
- Client point of contact; respond to requests for proposals; implement bid strategies to meet business objectives.
- Coordinate site visits; coordinate and lead proposal-related meetings.
- Manage the bid qualification process for new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for bids.
- Oversee proposal production, review, and edit proposal content to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements.
- Conduct market research to support bid decisions, as necessary.
- Track submissions; utilize software tools for efficient client and bid management.
- Negotiate with clients on pricing and contract terms.
- Drive strategic planning for successful bid submissions.
- Utilize CRM tools for bid tracking.
Skills
- Strong customer relationship management skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented.
- Experience in metal fabrication, compressor station equipment, sales, business development, and market analysis.
- Proficiency in bid management tools; familiarity with CRM systems.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and strategically.

This position is not remote; ability to commute or relocate to the Stephenville, Texas, area is required; limited travel may be required. This position requires proposal creation and submission experience along with account management and business development experience; CRM software experience (HubSpot) is a plus. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits which includes 100 percent company-paid medical insurance with prescription coverage and $100,000 life insurance. This position reports directly to C-level management.
