Job summary

ProKatchers LLC seeks an experienced Estimator to develop cost estimates for complex construction, infrastructure, civil, electrical, industrial or utility projects in New York. You will interpret drawings, develop quantities and costs, and understand labor, materials, means and other cost drivers.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on estimating experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with project teams and executives.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting civil or electrical drawings.
• Experience estimating quantities, labor, materials, equipment, and total project costs.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost drivers.
• Experience with estimating software such as HeavyBid or comparable platforms.
• Ability to interpret preliminary drawings, sketches, and project scopes.
• Familiarity with construction trades and terminology.
• Experience in civil, electrical, industrial, infrastructure, or utility estimating.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
