Perform accurate material takeoffs for concrete masonry units, brick, stone veneer, stucco, retaining walls, and associated reinforcing accessories using digital takeoff software.
Assist in building complete cost estimates that account for material waste, labor production rates, equipment rentals, and scaffolding requirements.
Request, compare, and organize material quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
Review incoming bid sets, addenda, and requests for information to ensure project estimates accurately reflect the latest scopes and specifications.
Draft bid proposals, scope clarifications, and cost breakdowns for review by the Head of Preconstruction before submission to general contractors.
Candidates should have three to six years of experience in construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, or architectural plan reading.
Experience in masonry, stucco, or civil structural construction is preferred.

Candidates must be able to visualize three-dimensional masonry assemblies, including concrete masonry units, bond beams, openings, and lintels, directly from two-dimensional plan sets.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, formula calculations, and bid-sheet formatting is required.
Candidates must be able to identify discrepancies between architectural and structural plans, missing scope details, and project specifications.
Maintain a steady production pace of three accurate bid packages per week to support the team's pipeline goals.
Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Active availability is required during these hours for real-time team communication, site coordination, and contractor inquiries.
