Responsabilidades

• Review project plans, specifications, bid instructions, addenda, RFIs, and related documents to fully understand project requirements and scope.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for all work within the company's scope.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, scope gaps, and potential risks; request clarification as needed.
• Request and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to verify pricing, scope, and completeness.
• Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project costs.
• Identify value-engineering and alternative solutions to reduce project costs while meeting requirements.
• Develop complete and professional proposals, including pricing, alternates, qualifications, forms, bonds, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct thorough self-reviews of takeoffs, estimates, quotes, and proposals before final submission.
• Manage multiple estimates simultaneously, prioritize workload, and consistently meet bid deadlines.
• Revise estimates and proposals as needed based on project changes, client requests, or addenda.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the estimating process.
• Follow up with clients after proposal submission to determine bid status, answer questions, and identify opportunities to secure work.
• Utilize software such as PlanSwift, WinEst, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Excel, and Word for estimating and documentation tasks.
