Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Estimator to provide exceptional customer experiences by accurately assessing vehicle damage and coordinating repairs. The role involves documenting communications, guiding customers and insurers through the process, and ensuring adherence to DRP requirements.

The Estimator will participate in daily production walks, training sessions, and team collaboration to achieve KPIs and maintain service quality at our Johnson City facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
• Able to find information quickly and accurately.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Compliance with DRP requirements and processes.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR training and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Document customer interactions and update repair details.
• Provide accurate, timely information to customers and insurers.
• Coordinate repair planning and communicate needs to team.
• Participate in safety and staff meetings as required.
• Support team members and participate in daily production walks.

The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
