Peak Water Services is seeking an Estimator to support design, planning, and execution of water and wastewater projects. You will collaborate with managers, technicians, and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong estimation and project management experience, plus familiarity with water treatment processes and equipment. Collaboration across teams and proactive problem-solving are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimation and/or project management.
• Engineering background in civil or mechanical fields is a plus.
• Familiarity with water/wastewater treatment processes and equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement processes, obtain equipment quotes, and assist in budget preparation and cost estimation for projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to define project requirements, scope, and goals, and act as liaison among teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, address issues, and help remove roadblocks to maintain timelines and quality.
• Prepare and maintain design reports, flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
• Ensure projects adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
• Assist in developing system specifications and designs.
• Track working hours, plans, and expenses, and support administrative tasks.

Peak Water Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to support the successful design, planning, and execution of water and wastewater projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, service technicians, contractors, and customers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of industry regulations. Effective communication with diverse stakeholders and a proactive approach to problem‑solving are key to excelling in this role.

What you’ll do

• Oversee procurement processes, obtain equipment quotes, and assist in budget preparation and cost estimation for public and private projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to define project requirements, scope, and goals, and act as a liaison between teams, owners, engineers, and municipalities to ensure efficient communication and execution.
• Monitor project progress, address issues, and assist in removing roadblocks to maintain timelines and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design reports, flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
• Ensure projects adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
• Assist in the development of system specifications and designs.
• Track working hours, plans, and expenses, and assist in administrative tasks to support the project management team.

What you bring

• Strong preference for applicants with previous experience for a manufacturer or supplier of pumping or other fluid handling / treatment systems.
• Experience in estimation and/or project management.
• Engineering backgrounds such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or civil construction would be a plus.
• Familiarity with water/wastewater treatment processes and equipment, electrical controls, pumps, estimating, and/or sales would also be of preference.
